Some kids learn very fast. For example this boy, Charles, 13 years old and living in the Elisama orphanage, who joins the sspB program at the moment. He's originally from Timor, so far away from his family. Every week he's standing in front of the gate, waiting for our car to pick him up to take him surfing. He enjoys every minute of it and shows some good surfing skills already. Last week Ketut, our surfinstructor, demonstrated some tricks you can do on your surfboard, like standing on the head. Charles copied this trick immediately, amazing!
